Our basic and most cost effective storage solution

• The vehicle will be parked up in our facility with no other services offered
• The vehicle needs to be insured by you (minimum lay away cover) insurance required
• Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) £80 per month (including VAT)
• Short-term storage (less than 3 months) £25 per week (including VAT)

£25 mini valet fee on arrival so the car is clean ready to be stored and to allow the vehicle to be inspected. Free return clean and re-check if you take your car out or swop between cars you own

Our standard package consists of everything in the Lock up & leave facility plus:

• The vehicle is fully insured by us*
• 10% discount for 3 or more vehicles
• Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) £100 per month (including VAT)
• Short-term storage (less than 3 months) £30 per week (including VAT)

Our Premium storage package consist of:

•  Vehicle battery connected to a conditioner
• Quality breathable UV dust cover placed over the vehicle
• Drip tray placed under the vehicle to capture and monitor any fluid loss
• Vehicle is moved and brought to operating temperature every month
• Tyre pressures and all fluids checked every month
• Anti-theft device placed in the vehicle for additional security
• The vehicle is fully insured by us*
• 10% discount for 3 or more vehicles
• Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) £120 per month (including VAT)
• Short-term storage (less than 3 months) £35 per week (including VAT)

Our premium plus+ storage package consist of everything in the standard package plus:

• The vehicle is stored in a deluxe moisture controlled air chamber (Carcoon)
• 10% discount for 3 or more vehicles
• Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) £155 per month (including VAT)
• Short-term storage (less than 3 months) £45 per week (including VAT)

While your vehicles is stored with us we can offer the following additional services:

 

• Servicing & MOT's - We can recommend and arrange for your car to be serviced by a local specialist or main dealer and have it transported fully insured and collected when ready. We will then clean and check the vehicle back into storage
• Valeting & Detailing - We have our own in-house valeting and detailing service with over 12 years experience
• Transport - We can provide UK wide collection and delivery on either open or covered transport via one of our professional transport providers                                                                                           
• Vehicle Sales Facility including Sale or Return - Via our own on-site showroom we can offer a retail  facility should you decide to sell your car or have another you would like to sell

FAQ's:

Q: Can I take my car out for the day ?

A: Yes. We do ask for 24 hours notice, but will always try to accommodate your requirements

 

Q: What is the maximum length and height of vehicle you can store ?

A: Our standard packages include a vehicle up to 5 metres in length with no height restriction

 

Q: Can my own mechanic maintain my car ?

A: Unfortunately no due to insurance reasons. 

 

Q: What is the minimum / maximum I can store my car for ?

A: The minimum is one week, with no maximum

 

Q: What do I need to do to prepare my car for storage ?

A:  Nothing. Just bring it to us and we will do the rest!

 

Q: Who will have access to my car while in storage ?

A: All owners are accompanied while on site and only Speed12Garage employees are permitted to move cars while in storage

Q: Is my car insured ?

A: Yes for fire, theft and damage (except for out Lock -up & Leave facility) and up to the value of £50,000. Vehicles with a higher value will incur an additional charge (please contact us for a quote). We do recommend you leave your own insurance in place or a minimum of 'laid up cover'

 

 

Terms & Conditions

 

• Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) paid quarterly in advance with 1 month notice period
• Short-term storage (less than 3 months) paid when the vehicle leaves us or the 3 months period is exceeded.
• All vehicles are subject to a mini valet on arrival costing £25 (including VAT)
• Insurance of £50,000 per vehicle is included (except for our Lock Up & Leave Facility) for fire, theft and damage. Road risk is not included. Please contact us if your vehicle is valued at more than £50,000 for a quote.
• Payment is due in advance for Long-term storage (minimum 3 months) and then invoiced quarterly with one months notice. Short-term storage (less than 3 months) will be invoiced when the car leaves us. We reserve the right to charge 10% for late payment on balances more than 30 days overdue, with persistent late payment liable for any legal charges.
• We recommend you keep a minimum 'lay away cover' in place with your insurer even when your car is insured by us
• Check-out / collection notice 24 hours free of charge. Short notice charge (if outside normal working hours) and less than 24 hours £25
• All prices include VAT
